Replacing Refrigerator Gaskets
Refrigerator gaskets are used to prevent it from warm air, so when the gaskets are worn out or damaged, they must be changed. You can replace the gaskets yourself if you follow the tips below: Soften the new gasket by putting it in warm water. It will make it more convenient to work with. Ensure the fridge is steady. Release the old gasket. You’ll need a screwdriver to undo the screws but keep in mind that you mustn’t take them out. Begin at the top and move to the sides of the door. Remove the old gasket beginning from the top corner. If there was dirt under the gasket, clean it. Otherwise, it will prevent the gasket from fitting tightly. Put the new gasket under the metal clips and attach it. Start from the middle of one side. Close the door to make sure the gasket is tightly pressed against the door and there aren’t any gaps. If there are no problems, tighten the screws. If you had any difficulties while replacing the refrigerator gaskets on your own, don’t get upset and just contact our service. We’ll take care of your problem immediately. Our repairmen work quickly and clients are satisfied with the result.
