Fix Washer Spin Cycle Locally

You have a problem with your washer not working before the rinse cycle, because with a full load of water, the washer is stuck. By changing the knob to rinse mode, you've tried to remedy this, but nothing works. We're going to look at some of the issues today that forced your washer to quit after a run. Per cycle is regulated by the washer timer. If there is some sort of error, so the washer will actually not go through the cycle of rinsing. These issues can be that the timer is defective; problems can be with the flow of water or runoff, or a power fault. The first thing that can happen with the washer timer is a crisis. The timer may be worn out and, after a loop, trigger the machine to stop. The timer can also be dirty, so you need to check the timer teeth and repair them if necessary to locally fix this problem. Draining the washer can also have issues. This may be because the drain pump is either filthy or not properly mounted. Be sure not to clog or kink the drain pump. You may attempt to rearrange the drain pump to allow quick passage of the water. Finally but critically, it is the wire itself in the washer that freezes as it goes into rinsing mode. The wiring could have burnt out or defective, thus stopping the timer from working. The wiring needs to be tested, and it's better to contact a trained electrician who can repair the problem.
