It can relate to the lid switch assembly that usually stops spinning when the lid is open. To check if you have some problems with the lid switch assembly you must test the lid with the multimeter for continuity. If the lid switch does not have continuity, it will need replacement. Check the drive belt to determine if it is broken or loose. If the washer is overloaded, the motor coupling fails to secure the washer's engine and transmission. You must inspect the motor coupling to see if it needs replacement. The appliance does not drain. Sometimes some small objects can clog the drain pump while the washer is running. Remove the drain pump and inspect it for obstructions inside. If the pump is clear but still does not work in the right way, change the drain pump. It does not agitate. Replace the agitator repair kit. Also, it can be a problem with the drive block that connects the washer transmission to the agitator. Washer problematically fills. You can have a problem with the water pressure, if the pressure is right, check the water inlet valve for damage or contamination. You can clean it up, and if it is of no help, replace the valve.
